The Criminal Department is responsible for issuing all documents, setting hearing times, and processing all documents for the case management system, for all of the cases filed by the District Attorney and the Attorney General’s Office. The primary types of cases the Criminal Department handles are felonies and misdemeanors.
The Clerk’s office works very closely with the Judges, Judge’s assistants, attorneys, the District Attorney, probation officers, jail, and the public.
Some hearings may be conducted via Zoom.
