The Probate Department handles Estate cases, the Last Will and Testament of a decedent, Guardianships and Conservatorships, Adoptions, Mental Illness Commitment cases, and the issuance of Marriage Licenses. Adoption and Mental Illness cases are confidential and not open to the public.
The clerks are responsible for handling all the paper work that the attorneys file. The clerks are also responsible for processing the Annual Accountings and Report on the Condition of the Guardian's Ward, The Clerks will follow up with mailing Delinquency notices to anyone who has not filed their Annual Accounting or Report of Guardian forms.
