APPLICATIONS TO REPRESENT INDIGENT FELONY DEFENDANTS NOW AVAILABLE

Chief Judge Richard Anderson is revising the attorney appointment list for indigent defendants charged with felonies. If you are interested in being appointed to represent a defendant in a felony case, applications are available in the Court Administrator's office, Shawnee County Courthouse, room 406 or click here Payment for appointed counsel is provided out of the budget of the State Board of Indigents' Defense Service at the rate of $50 per hour. The deadline to apply is June 15, 2005. Completed applications should be returned to Don Troth, Court Administrator, Room 406, Shawnee County Courthouse.
