Hello Electronic Filers,

To avoid being charged the Sheriff's Process Fee on documents that you feel should not be charged for, please add the following branch at the end of your entry:

extended(1).subtype =
extended(1).value = Exempt

This is effective today, Wednesday, July 14, 2004.

For example: This will prevent you from being charged twice on a case filing with two defendants at the same address, or prevent you from being charged on an Alias Citation, etc.

Any disagreement with the assessment of the Sheriff's Process Fee must be taken up with the Shawnee County Sheriff's department.
