What is a Juvenile Tobacco case?
Juvenile in Possession of a tobacco product is handled like a traffic ticket. The juvenile may pay the court costs of $98.00, and the fine of $25.00, or the case maybe set for Trial like any other case. When a minor receives a Tobacco Ticket for the first time, the minor may attend the Tobacco School. The cost is $45.00 for the school. Once the class is completed and the fee is paid the Tobacco Ticket is dismissed and the $98.00 Court Costs and the $25.00 fine will be waived.
