Can I purchase copies of records? If so, how much do copies cost?
Copies from the paper files can be purchased from the Records room at $.50 per page. Copies from the document retrieval system can also be printed from the two (2) public access computers at $.50 per document. Anyone wishing to view a case and or purchase copies is required to fill out a Kansas Open Records Act Request form. These are also available at the window of the Records department. Request for copies can be made in person, by phone, or by fax, and a $12 per hour research fee may be added for extremely large request that require much time and paper to complete.
